About the platform
This platform presents model results that are issued from a collaboration between the University of Crete and the Cyprus Institute.
Simulations are performed every day and forecasts are provided for the following 3-days over the Mediterranean region (low resolution) and over Crete and Cyprus (higher resolution). This is a test page, the results are preliminary

Due to the vicinity of the African continent the Mediterranean atmosphere is episodically receiving large amounts of desert dust that affect air quality, ecosystems growth and climate.
